On August 2, join a/perture and Vecino Center for a magical afternoon and evening celebrating the beloved world of Studio Ghibli and Japanese culture — right in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem at a/perture cinema (311 W 4th St).
✨ $35 Festival Pass includes both films and access to Japanese cultural experiences.
Schedule:
🕒 3–5pm – Howl’s Moving Castle screening
🕔 5–7pm – Optional Japanese dinner, anime face painting, and a Japanese conversation hour (perfect for practicing or just listening!)
🕖 7–9pm – Spirited Away screening
