Spanish for the Medical Professions I is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to provide improved care to Spanish-speaking patients. In this course, students will learn how to conduct patient intakes, obtain medical histories, perform basic physical examinations, discuss symptoms, and communicate about diagnoses, medications, and prescriptions in Spanish.
This course is for medical professionals with intermediate-advanced Spanish proficiency. Prior to registering, please demonstrate intermediate proficiency by placing out of Level 4 through the Vecino Center placement exam. You can take the exam here: https://forms.gle/Tw6Sb6NStW51WCMR7
Once you complete the placement exam, you will receive an email within 48 hours from info@vecinocenter.com with your results. Please wait for these results before registering for this course.
If you are brand new to Spanish or still a beginner, enroll first in our in-person general Spanish courses in Winston Salem or our online general Spanish courses.
